Hi John & Patrick :)
Since I mentioned it ... and Patrick couldn't find a listing in the
Library of Congress ... I went and looked for the book at home... to make
sure that I didn't remember the title wrong... not that I ever have a
faulty memory! hehehe

The book is The Adolescence of P-1 by Thomas J. Ryan. The copyrite for
my copy is 1977 printed by Collier Books of New York and the ISBN is
0-02-024880-6. I think it will be fun to read this again (yep... started
it while on the train this morning!) since the first time I read this book
(1978) was before I had even taken my first intro course to computers!

As for where to find a copy? you might try www.powells.com which is
the website for Powells Books here in Portland... they advertise being one
of the largest bookstores in the world and specialize in used/old books :)

Ah yes! I remember it! We still have a "P1" system UDC on the Classic
systems here.

My ex had loaned my copy to one of her friends and I never got it back.
I'm told it is now out of print. Does anyone know of a place that has
copies of "The Adolescence of P1"?

John
