Hi there.

The MPE Forum would like to announce that there is a new MPE Club on the
clubs.yahoo.com server. You can find it by pointing your browser to:

http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/mpe

The main facility that we expect to be used is the Chat Room. You will need
a Java enabled browser to use the chat facility.

At present we don't have any definite plans for HOW to use this new
facility, but it seemed like a reasonable thing to gget set up. Some of the
ideas that have been suggested include "Conversations with <insert name of
your choice here>", and more interactive discussions of some of the problems
that get raised here.

What we DO want to do right now is to make the presence of the club known,
and to solicit your ideas (the crazier the better?!) for how it can be used.
In the near future, you can also look forward to an MPE Forum page to which
you'll be able to send things that are too large to send via the list (and
from which subscribers will be abe to download them at their leisure), and
which will also provide other services.

If you want to sugggest ideas here, that's fine, or to me privately, as you
wish. I'd suggest a MPE Club: in the Subject line so those as don't want to
participate can filter them.

Thanks for your attention, we now return you to your regularly scheduled
programming...

Tony
