This also happened to me when updating to 6.0pp2 several months ago. There
is no apparent error in the IDP.CONFIG file, but this showed up anyway. I
don't know where it comes from, but it seems pretty clear that it got sent
out in error to a number of customers.

I seem to recall that the "user version" only gets altered when using
PatchiX to update PowerPatch levels.
If I am remembering correctly, when using Autoinst to apply PowerPatches,
the "user version" does not get advanced.
