the second. We're trying to determine if files are being FTP'd up to us
in the correct order, unfortunately a listf only shows to the minute,
and all are the same. I have MPEX if that helps.

hi all!

i'm working on getting encrypted passwords working on new samba. i've
updated my smb.conf file (using the 2.2.8 sample file as the basis);
restarted samba; run smbpasswd as mgr.samba to add my users....

for one user -- with a user password -- i ran smbpasswd as that user
and entered the correct password. from my pc, i was able to click on
the correct folder....give the password....and got in with no problem
:-)

the next user (on my list) -- with an account (only) password -- i ran
smbpasswd as that user and got:

IXH:/usr/local/samba/bin/smbpasswd
Old SMB password:

New SMB password:

Retype new SMB password:

machine 127.0.0.1 rejected the session setup. Error was :
NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE.
Failed to change password for MGR.WEB

i actually got the error twice. the first time i ran it, i didn't put
in the leading command....the second time i did...but the results are
the same.

what's the secret? - d
