The problem here, John, is in several areas - and I'm sure Michael Doyle or
one of his staff could address it further.
Having written for Interact in the past, I can say that they do have trouble
getting good authors. OTOH, good authors are up to their necks right now
and have no time to write quality pieces.
Interex has offered me inducements in the past to continue writing. I could
not do that - take further inducement over the normal stipend provided - or
even the stipend - if I didn't have the time to produce a quality piece or
monthly column.
If more qualified people (who had some time on their hands) would write good
pieces, and sent them in - who knows, Interact may again, have more pages,
with more "meat and potatoes".
Again, If I'm wrong on this, I'm sure the Interex staff responsible will
chime in and correct me.
Best Regards,
Joe
