The two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.  C. S. Lewis (my favourite
Christian writer), for example, "believed" in evolution.

That said, this kind of discussion is highly inflamatory and not really
appropriate to HP3000-L (even as an Off Topic subject) -- it just generates
too many flames, to no good effect.
