We're experincing following problem while using vt3k and hpterm to logon from
HP-9000 to HP-3000 :

the TCP "keepalive" function no longer works on connections to/from non-hp
9000 systems. This means that customers will notice that connections which
are idle, i.e. have no activity, will time out after a period usualy not
exceeding one hour. This is most commonly noticed when using vt3k to connect
to HP 3000 systems.

We've,accroding to system administrators,implemented patch PHNE_5633 which I
believe was a patch for the above problem for 9.0.3 and/or 9.0.4. Is there a
patch or workaround for the similar problem on 9.0.5?

Anybody out there in HP-UX world can shed some light!!!!

Thanking you in advance,
