->And what makes you MAC users think you know everything about PCs?????
->

I used PC's since 1988. My first machine was a Commodore PC-Clone running
MS-DOS 3.21. Don't assume my knowledge. I don't know everything, I know
enough to say that finally, in 1995, I was no longer devoted to PC's. I
prefer my Mac.

->You are right there is no arguing that win95 owes a lot of its UI to MACs
->and a little to OS2; however, you forgot to mention that it takes some
->aspects further than the MACs (and certainly a lot further than OS2). Yes,
->MACs do some things better, but in the end Windows 95 is the overall
->winner.
->

Why do you capitalize MAC everywhere. What if I said MICROSOFT WINDOWS,
IBM OS/2 WARP, APPLE MACINTOSH, or NEXTSTEP. Is that pointless caps or a
really long abbreviation?

Do you understand why people dislike Microsoft? Look at intel. They have a
huge marketshare in CPU land. No one is flaming them or trying to take
them down because they innovate. Intel does have it's flaws, but they do a
good job fixing them. Their products are also fast and reliable. Microsoft
is the Apple of Wintel. One of the few dominating companies that still
care to research and innovate.

It's doesn't really go much further than the Mac. Windows95 still has yet
to be object-oriented like OS/2. Windows95 is another close attempt to
copy the Mac. If haven't noticed, PC users wish to be more "Mac-like" Not
OS/2, Next, or Unix-like. Microsoft merely wishes to appeal to these
ignorant demands and throws out an OS with low power and pretty looks.
Like a beautiful Ferarri missing an engine or some MINOR piece of the pie.

->Still, however, I don't think the MAC is going to die anytime soon. MAC
->users, though few they may be, are extremely loyal, and that will keep
->Apple alive for quite some time.
->

56 Million is not few. Apple will remain alive for life... if they keep
up. Apple may shrink to the size of a company that makes buttons for mice,
but they'll never die anytime in 15 years.
