We had TurboStore II prior to MPE 5.5, and I was under the impression that
the TS24x7 functionality was covered in our maintenance contract for the
original TS product as an enhancement.

I vaguely recall some discussion about time-limited demo versions of the
full product, but I don't know what your exact situation is.

My specific symptoms would appear to be simply the result of an untested-for
scenario, where some of the new database-handling code for the 24x7
functionality was not properly interwoven with the previously existing code
for handling file-not-found conditions. Of course, that's purely conjecture
on my part. I'd like to know if anyone else is seeing the same behavior, if
it's been reported to HP, and what is being done about it.
