I'd love to see that 1994 list, historian that I've become. Only the 989 and 997 topped that price. $290,000 and 311,000, respectively.
Or to look at it another way, discounts of $288,625 for the 989, and $307,825 for the 007. All you had to do was wait 16 years to get them. The RAM alone for that 987 cost 10 times the asking price for the entire system today.
