Thomas!

Under normal circumstances in MPE one cannot save files across account
boundaries Do a 'listacct' and you'll see that there is no 'save'
attribute under the security section of the display. The only way to
delete (purge) a file in another account is for the security access to be
set up properly for that account (basically then anyone can purge any file
in that account or at least within a specific group) or the specific file
must have been released or assigned an 'ACD' that would allow specific
users to purge it.

If you have MPEX and running under a user with 'SM' capability then you can
copy/save and delete anything anywhere in the system.

You don't have a problem working with the image database because the
security matrix for that database file is set up to allow lock, write, and
update.

In order to 'get around' that 'restriction', as far as I know, you must
either establish a DS session on the other account and copy your files
using 'DSCOPY' or use/get MPEX (providing you have SM cap.).
