Help I've got a CR/LF problem.

I've been sending small plain vanilla ascii fixed length files from our HP3000 to a software house via e.mail (having first transferred it from the HP to my PC via reflection and/or minsoft terminal emulators).

We're nearly ready to go live and a file I sent to them the same file, on a DAT directly from the HP using FCOPY and it appears to be in different format - the CR/LF pairs introduced by the terminal emulators are absent.

What's the quickest way to convert the file to the required format on the HP3000 ?.

(1) convert to bytestream ? if so how does one FCOPY bytestream files to a DAT and get sensible blocking ?

(2) Read the FCOPY manual !
