Interestingly enough, the $42,000,000 cost of Carly's early exit from HP
is exactly the same amount offered by the National Hockey League as its
final total salary cap per team before the 2004-2005 NHL season was
mercifully terminated yesterday.

Surely somewhat more witty than I could come up with a one-liner linking
the value of Carly to that of an entire team of hockey players...
