If I remember correctly, when we went from MPE-V to MPE-XL (16 to 32-bit),
we needed to at least, recompile. In some cases, we had to do more than
that.
It was called "migration" if I remember correctly, and HP was marketing the
hell out of it, at $210.00 US per hour <g>
MPE will be migrated to IA-64 --- who could pass up a projected $350.00 US
per hour consulting and services program for migration for this platform?
<hehehe>
