This is interesting. However, the drawback I see is that it only connects
via a USB port. This makes it difficult or impossible to insert a firewall
which usually expects an Ethernet connection.
I have some remote sites where I can't get DSL or cable broadband
installed. This would be a good solution, except I need to have a firewall
in front of the local PC. I use VPN inside the firewall to communicate
with our data center. (Software Firewalls & VPN clients are a distant
second choice for me compared to hardware solutions.)
