Hi Terry and other listers,

Since no one else volunteered a response, let me try.

No. the driver detects the size of the discs (and possibly other parameters
which I don't really remember), so the important point is that you configure
the right INTERFACE, i.e. a single-ended product number for a single-ended
physical disk, and a fast/wide product number for a fast/wide physical disk.
Then there are F/W disk arrays, which are configured using different product
numbers, but all the numbers you quoted are separate disks, not disk array
types.

Makes sense. Of course, you have to make a full backup (preferably two -
remember Murphy's Law !!!) of everything before attempting the slightest
configuration change. But you knew that before, didn't you ?

Yes and no. If the volume sets you are going to change include
MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET, you are in for a reload, which (you knew that
before, too) is performed from a CSLT. Then you have to reconfigure all
disks first in sysgen, then in volutil. Then, restore all data.

If you're going to modify only user sets, your plan looks OK.
