I think the only option which does at least part of what was being discussed
is OPTION NOHELP.
This does not have anything to do the SHOWCATALOG though. It just prevents
HELP <UDC command> from displaying what is in the UDC. The command name
still shows in a SHOWCATALOG.
As far as I know, there is no way to hide the command name in a UDC from a
SHOWCATALOG.

OPTION NOLIST just means you don't see the UDC code
as it is being executed. The opposite, OPTION LIST, displays
each UDC line through execution. It works the same in command
files also. OPTION NOLIST is the default.
I don't think it has anything to do with SHOWCATALOG.
