I understand the difference between CIUPDATE=ON and CIUPDATE=ALLOWED (a call to
DBCONTROL mode 5). Can someone provide a scenario where the distinction is
significant? After all the same program[mer] can convert CIUPDATE=ALLOWED to
CIUPDATE=ON.
