How to use MKEDIT

Platform : HP3000 series 969 /Reflection 8.0
Currently, I am using QUAD as the editor. However, I would like to try
MKEDIT.  I am able to open a text file using MKEDIT using :
run mkedit[.group.account];info="filename"
but  I do not know how to proceed for example, to add new lines and to
edit the text. Please help.      Thank you.
