An example where file allocation will probably not match creation and
or modification timestamps is RESTORE;OLDDATE -- allocation is now, but
creation and modification come from the tape info.

An example where status will no longer match modified timestamp would
be the use of commands like /bin/chmod or /bin/chown (or maybe ALTFILE
or ALTSEC to the same effects).

Not a precise definition of the different timestamps, but maybe it helps.
