But this is a "feature" when you want to purge every file in a group,
for whatever reason, without purging the group itself. Before the
wildcard purge was added, it was a lifesaver for groups that collect
logfiles, spool files, work files, etc. Just login to the group and
purgegroup it, and presto, files gone. It's also much faster than a
wildcard purge for groups with large numbers of files.
