Greetings,
We have two HP3000 systems. One is a 929K the other is a 939K. Both
are on version 6.5 PP3 and both have the same version of EDIT/3000. It
looks like the version of both Editors ends in .09.00.
The odd thing that's occurring is the 939 isn't recognizing ":COMMENT"
as a comment. It sees the colon and just exits.
The 929 recognizes ":COMMENT" as a comment and simply returns the "/" prompt.
Any clues why this is happening on one computer and not the other?
We do have VESOFT, could that be the culprit?
By the way, my "favorite editor" is Qedit...
Thanks,
Ernie
