A few people have requested more information about the system that
the two httpd servers are on (I should have included it in the initial
message, sorry).  Here are it's vitals:

.  Series 928LX w/64MB
.  MPE/iX 5.5 pp1
.  Internet connection via 56K frame relay

Mark (and all HP3000-Listers),

  I downloaded the 1.2b6 server and installed it without a hitch.  For
anyone that would like a side by side comparison of the Apache 1.2b6
server and the NCSA 1.3 server, you can try the following addresses:
