Why doors? I have about 3000 in three specially-built bookshelves
that are about 7.5 feet tall. Doors only get in the way when you have that
urgent need to hear Zara Dolukhanova. Just so you know where I'm
coming from, one entire shelf is devoted to all known recordings of a
particular set of four songs (well ..... I brag. Almost all. I'm missing
two).

You might like to pick up a recent issue of the UK Gramophone magazine.
It has numerous ads in the back for CD storage furniture, some with US
addresses. But given the prices, you'd be much better off knocking up your
own, or getting a local furniture builder to do it for you.

FWIW,
Ron Burnett
