Many thanks for the reply.

Can you tell me what is the correct "emulation setting on the M490E drive"
for this connection ?

Are there any quick and easy way for someone not familiar with HP MPE-iX
version 5.5 OS to configure and install the tape drive ?

Does it matter if the SCSI interface is Single-ended or Differential ? [...]38_22May199903:55:[log in to unmask]

Hello Friends @ 3000-l,

Re: FTP/iX does not handle ;SPOOL correctly

I could not find the OLD THREAD on this problem, but I know a few folks
out here in 3000-L land saw & reported this problem.

  SR: 1653-280321
FROM: FTPFDB2
FTP/iX does not handle ;SPOOL correctly

This is now fixed in:
FTPFDB2 5.5 Beta Test patch (or supersede)
& FTPFDB1 6.0 Beta Test patch (or supersede)

As always, please contact your friends at the HP-Response Center to get
this patch for your system... Ask for the fix to SR 1653-280321.

P.S. The appropriate patch must be installed on both the sending (source)
and receiving (destination) systems.
