I'm not attacking or condoning the amount of OT stuff on the HP3000-l.
However, the volume of OT has caused me (and others I know) to pay less
attention (in general) to the 3000-L, which is why I have used the OpenMPE-L
in the recent past to make "on topic" postings. I know there are some long
time MPE'rs that want the 3000-l to be used for general all MPE topics and
there is some merit to their thoughts. However, I know I'm not alone with
my prospective. I'm not sure what the ultimate answer will be, but in the
words of Bob Dylan, "The times they are a changing."

Thanx,
        Jon

I agree with Cecile, I haven't been involved with the 3000 for two years
now. I just can't seem to disconnect myself from this list. The OT stuff is
now more interesting than the on topic.
