Ooops, retract that. a B6800 would be more modern than the 3700. My
mistake.

=================================

The density would be 800, but what character set? EBCIDIC?

I worked on a B3700 for a while at Mountain Home AFB.

Subject:  [HP3000-L] OT: old tapes

I probably won't win the prize for the oldest computer relic but I noticed
a
few days ago that we still have some tapes here that were created on our
large system Burroughs (B6800 I think) in 1985.

(I don't suppose one can read those on a 3000?)

Later,
Edward
