Hello Friends @ 3000-l

Re: What does DTC stand for?

The DTC was originally:
  "DISTRIBUTED TERMINAL CONTROLLER (DTC)"

and was renamed about the time X.25, Open View DTCMGR & TELNET were
introduced as:
"DATA COMMUNICATIONS and TERMINAL CONTROLLER (DTC)"

As best as I can tell, this name change took place in 1989/1990 and to
show my age - I worked for the HP-RC on the DTC team from 1998 to 1991.
Ouch... I had not realized the DTC has had it's 10 year birthday ~:)
