There was a bug in Service Pack 6, regarding the IP numbers. This service
pack was quickly replaced by service pack 6a. You might want to ascertain
which one you have.
Kind regards,

Subject: OT: socket error
I have two pc's (HP Vectra XM Series 4 5/120's) running
NT 4.0 service pack 6. If I enter two IP addresses and I
attempt to go thru reflections to get to the HP3000 I get the
following error: "Could not create Socket for your Telnet
connection" I can enter just one IP address for either the NT
Network server "OR" the HP3000 and connect okay, but
I can't enter both.
being driven to crazyville
