Once again you have explained a difficult concept, concisely, thoroughly and
eloquently. Most importantly, you have left us with more questions than
answers. I have come to expect no less.

I really think that my biggest fear regarding the passing of MPE/HP3000 is
not the loss of a great platform nor the problem of learning new skills by
which to earn my livelihood. My biggest fear is that I will not have the
3000-L to enlighten me on a myriad of subjects. I would just like to thank
all of the contributors and especially Jeff Kell and UTC.
