MPEIX 6.0 and NMAP

We are currently running 4 x HP3000 systems with O/S v6.0 and JINETD.NET
running as a background service. We have been using NMAP running on a LINUX
box to scan the LAN. Every now and again whilst NMAP is running the O/S on
all 4 3000's hang. I have found out that NMAP is prone to inteferring with
INETD on UX boxes so I can only assume this is the same on 3000 boxes. Has
anyone else suffered from this problem or does anyone have any ideas on a
way to solve this?
