When we connect anyting above a LaserJet II to our 3000, we use a board
from Excellink.  This performs two functions: 1) it allows the printer to
respond to HP3000 status requests (ie: tt22) and 2) it allows the printer
to be used by two serial ports and a parallel port at the same time, so
the printer can be used by two 3000's and a PC (or network).
