The file to stream to get the FTP daemon up is JFTPSTRT.ARPA.SYS. Then when you
do a showjob, you should see FTPMON as one of the jobs.

Finally, one additional thing to check; make sure that the ip address or
hostname that you're trying to connect to is really the *3000* and not
mapped to a DTC...
