I'll preface this by saying that the RC and Robelle have been working
diligently on these, but being the patient person that I am, I'm also
posting them here.

We upgraded our test box, a 959, from 5.5.4 to 6.0.1 and had several batch
programs stop working.  There are 2 problems.  First, a load module that
came over from a 958 in 1995 stopped working with an uncovered lock error
message. I added displays to give the RC the return status from DBLOCK and
DBUPDATE and recompiled the program, but the problem persists.

Second, Speed Demon is causing an illegal ascii digit.  A display added
immediately after the call to Speed Demon does not appear.  Substituting a
DBGET will get the program working again.

Any ideas on how to resolve these problems are welcome.
