ah...well...i guess the cat's out of the bag....  :-)

perhaps folks remember a thread that was running on the list in
december about the need for having a 'complete' job that collects
configuration information from your 3000.

the above web site (thanks hp for making invent3k available!) has got
the beginnings of a system manager's toolbox....jobs and scripts that
hopefully will make managing and maintaining an mpe server a wee bit
easier.

if you start downloading files, do make sure you get the readme file!
the 'it' jobs will not work without modification!  imo, the 'it' jobs
are as valuable as the big sysconf job -- because they get the
configuration summary file *off* your 3000.  in the event that you ever
have to recover your box (like all you people running 2gb internal disc
drives) you are going to be soooooooo glad you've got this file.
