You can setup a "linked table" from within MS Access that points to
a database on your 937 via ODBC. I'm not aware of a 32 bit ODBC driver
that would work on the Series 70, so you may be stuck there. Even
on the 937, you need to watch how much data you attempt to load
into Image as MS Access tends to not issue timely 'commit work's
and you end up getting a stalled transaction error.

Subject: [HP3000-L] MSAccess97 to HP3000 ODBC

I am looking for a transparent connection from and to my HP3000 S/937 using
MSAccess97. This is the main area of interest. I presently use flat files
input to through DBGeneral. And, export data from my current HP3000 S/70 via
"convert out" using HP's Info Access.

I presently use HP's Info. Access on my current S/70. Will it work on the MPEix
HP and to what extent can I use this product with HP9000 CPU's?
