from HP and Intel, codenamed Itanium. (I don't know the relationship
between this moniker and Merced, but the latter never seems to be
mentioned any more.)

"Hewlett-Packard reckons Intel's 64-bit Itanium CPU is sufficiently

Satish,

I remember them offering a specialization in their MIS program that would
allow students to intern at a Summit Credit Union as part of the degree
program. I never had the specifics on it, but did meet one of the interns
when I was at a client site back east.

hth,

I vaguely remember that Oregon State U at Corvallis, OR was offering
classes in HP-3000 (including MPE). I do not know the latest status.
