SYSDIAG is actually SYSDIAG.PUB.SYS, a 'USER DEFINED COMMAND FILE'; it
is bad form to assume that UDCFiles and UDCs will always be available.
It is somewhat safer to explicitly use the only line that SYSDIAG
contains: run dui.diag.sys;xl="xl.diag.sys,nl.pub.sys". Now, I KNOW that
if you can imagine something happening to the UDCFile, you can imagine
something happening to the NMPRG... On the other hand, .DIAG.SYS is a
bit less open than .PUB.SYS; if your utilities start disappearing, being
able to abort jobs from a job stream may be the least of your worries.
