I remember when TYMNET used to be part of McDonnel Douglas...(Or was it
Rocketdyne?)
I think the easiest thing to do would be to get an Asynchronous Network
Engine from TELAMON. It takes care of the business of driving a modem
port outbound from a DTC. It has a good scripting mechanism too.

Subject: More problems, upgrade from 70 to 969...
Hi everyone,
First I want to thank everyone that has help me out with various
questions
that I have posted
here.
More problems, TYMNET (MCI) dial up remote sites. Works great on the
series
70 MODEM port off the
x.25 PAD. Now move the same exact line to a DTC48 MODEM port, it doesn't
work. Here's what it
looks like.
---------------- On the series 70 --------------------------------
ATDTnnn-nnnn
CONNECT 9600

The 70 works great!
--- NOW! ----- On the series 969 --------------------------------

Does anyone out on the list use TYMNET... If so, know of any problem
related
to moving from the
classic to PA-RISC and MPE/iX. I know Enq/Ack is not supported on MPE/iX,
but
not sure if that
has anything to do with it. I'm of the understanding that the x.25
protocol
stops at the PAD,
and MPE just see's regular serial I/O on the port. Any and all advice
will be
very much
appreciated!
Thanks again, in advance.
