While we are on the zipject -ahem- subject...

IIRC the ZIP/UNZIP port for MPE/iX at ftp://ftp.nha.co.za is
based on the InfoZIP freeware at http://www.cdrom.com/pub/infozip
and also available for tons of other platforms (precompiled and
as source code).

Unlike LZW from Telamon, the ZIP/UNZIP does not know MPE attributes.

Oh, by the way Java JAR files are also InfoZIP compatible, AFAIK.

(InfoZIP is Freeware whereas PKZIP is Shareware, as far as I recall)
