My network stats real quick:
5 NT 4.0 servers, one BDC with all the network printers loaded on it.
all machine are windows 98/se.
I seem to have issues when printing to two printers, which are HP
LaserJet 4000T.
They are hooked directly into my network (not running off a PC) and
were working just fine until about a month ago.
I can log on to ANY computer (admin privleges) and print just fine,
but no one else can. However, I went into one users account and gave
hime "Printer Operator" permissions and the "PO" control was "Full".
This seemed to be the only was I could get anyone other than me to
print to it. I can printer directly to it from the Server it is loaded
on. The security permissions have "Everyone" and "Domain Users" will
"FULL" control.
any ideas would be appreciated, I hear them writting my pink slip
already :( ...
I guess if i had a quick way to give 200 users "printer operator"
privleges with full control I'd be set, but I dont want a "McGyver"
fix, I want a REAL fix...
Please le tme know if you need any more info
