Stefano

After the install you will need to specify a config group when
you do the start norecovery. For a 9x8 system you may want to try:

        START NORECOVERY GROUP=CONFG9X8

This will give you the basic hardware configuration to start with so
you can add whatever else is attached.

I would also suggest running mapper from the ISL prompt to get the
correct paths to all devices attached.

Subject: CSLT restore (Moving MPE/iX from different system)

Hi

I'm planning, for disaster recovery pourpose, a complete system move from
two different HP 3000 server (947LX to 928RX).

I'm trying restoring an CSLT from source system to destination system and
I'm getting following troubles (I'm using MPE/iX 5.5):

1) After reboot when I'm going to relaunch CSLT install I got complaint
from target system not being setted any Streams Device.
Actually during bootup I get:

ldev: 10 Not added to configuration; higher component configuration
failed.
ldev: X Not added to configuration; higher component configuration
failed.
ldev: y Not added to configuration; higher component configuration
failed.
etc.

only LDEV#1 and LDEV#20 get "configured" and "avaible"

2) I went inside SYSGEN to try get consistency beetween different hardware
path configurations beetween source and target systems.
For some reason SYSGEN seems don't like at all syntax like 56/52.9 or
56/52.9.0:

Each time I try I get

**warning** The correct delimiter at this level is a "."
Path (up to this level) changed to 56.
**error** iopath 56.52 does not exist

3) Don't being active any streams device I'm unable to perform second step
about CSLT restore.

Have you any ideas?

Thank you very much

Stefano
