Last I looked the tapes were still in the $40-$50 range a piece. There
seemed to be drastic fluctuations in price based on availability. We had
no reliability issues with the tapes, although we did have the occasional
problem with the tape threading leader on the older models (DLT2000). As
for storage solutions, Engineered Data Products (I think that's right) has
some nice tape rack solutions with different types of packs for tapes
(cartridge, dat, etc). They have a DLT pack that worked out pretty well.
