HP laserjet 4300 with MICR question

This printer spits a blank page after every report. Is there a way to supress this "feature"?
Besides it wasting trees, it is a pain in having to separate a single sheet for every report.

1). is this a standard problem?
or
2). is there a way to fix it?

Short answer we got direct from our HP rep was that only Lexmark, and Brother printers have this feature to surpress this page eject.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
