We started out on 4.0 on a brand-new 918RX in late 1994. We've installed
both revisions (5.0 and 5.5), and all but a couple of the Express
releases...I think I missed Express 5 for 5.0 and Express 3 for 5.5.
Given all the little hassles, "gotchas", and "undocumented features" that
cropped up each step time, if I were you, I'd go directly from 4.0 to 5.5
Express 4 (which so far seems pretty stable), then wait until the first
express release comes out for 6.0 before jumping to it. Like microsoft, HP
cured me years ago of jumping on the "point-zero" release of ANYTHING.
