What Bill Said Ray!!! several years ago at Denkor I got both Apache and
Samba up and running on our small 3k in 2 hours or a bit less but only with
about a 20 minute call to Donna :) (for which I am sure I still owe an
"Adult Beverage" or two to her! hehehe)
Also, remember to ask her about how to set the access on the file
areas... it is important

Well, as a total network NEWBIE, I/we tried to get SAMBA up
and running from the directions at DOCS.HP.COM, but failed miserably.
As a start, can anyone tell me if you need SAMBA running before you can
run SWAT (makes no since SWAT is used to set the config file for SAMBA,
but...)?
Can anyone lend a pointer as to where I can find the
instructions for SAMBA on the hp3k for the complete idiot? 8-)
