hi all~

here's a strange one....  first (repeat after me) this is on
a classic.  we've installed the cognos 'wedge' (converts
02/29/2000 into a valid date for old cognos code) on this
computer.  the 'wedge' consists of two pieces -- an sl that
sits in the cognos account (we put it in the pub group) and
an entry into (gasp) sl.pub.sys.  both pieces are present
and (as far as i can tell) correctly installed.  this is
what i get...

what's the matter?  we've got several hundred other classics
doing the exact same thing with no problem.  very strange,
