Sorry about your troubles. Here is the latest on the sysstart file:

* Make sure that the file is on LDEV 1; and
* Make sure that MANAGER.SYS is the creator of the file.

Hope this helps.

Later and get EXTREME

Subject: SysStart File

Hi All,

Due to server crash, I rebooted the server with Recovery option. But got
some error's during the booting time I got some errors
i.e. RXT500.SPUB.ALTA0 File label virtual Address of corrupted files is
$0000000, $00180600. I am able to copy this file. When I tried to delete
this file system got hanged with the error System Abort 552 from the
Subsystem 153. Again during the booting time system was requesting restore
secdata.pub.sys file. But I could not find this file in my other systems.

Now the problem is My SysStart file is on the system. But during the boot up
sequence system not accessing sysstart filee. So I have start every thing
manually.

Please let me know what should the exact procedure to access the sysstart
file.

With Warm Regards
