Greetings, loyalists of the -L...

I wanted to briefly post some downright good news (for me)...I've been
offered, and accepted, a full time position with a company here in the
Chicago area.  They're a mail order outfit, running a small 3000 with custom
apps.  They plan on going the AS/400 route <<Insert Comments Here..>>, and
I'll be split-time....supporting existing apps, and getting trained on the
AS/400 because I'll be the lead on the migration effort.

I can't possibly thank all my -L friends properly....for their support,
suggestions and leads.  I'll be rejoining the -L next week from my new job,
and look forward to joining the fray again!

And my 5+ months on the bench just seemed to whizz by...]:-)
