Reply To: | [log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 3 Apr 2002 14:31:47 -0600353_- I had Apache working on an HP 9000. I added a mess of Perl modules and now when I try to start Apache I get Apache.pm failed to load in error_log. So where does this bad module live and what do I have to do to fix it. I am assuming that Apache.pm is a perl module and that I can get what I need from CERT. But what is it that I need? [...]37_3Apr200214:31: [log in to unmask] |

As far as standard components and compatability, HP and COMPAQ have had
slight proprietary differences from "standard" (that really hacked me off)
ever since the 8088 was the hot processor. I remember that to transfer a
file from a COMPAQ to an HP, I had to format the (5-1/4) floppy on the HP,
write it on the COMPAQ, and read it on the HP. The HP would not read COMPAQ
formatted floppies (or was it the other way around.)
Point is, COMPAQ has always been a little non-standard, and so has HP, in
the PC realm. Is that a good indication of the future of Comlet-Hewpaq?
